Who we are
This website is run by Lee Henderson trading as North East Peptides. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything on this page at [email protected].
What this website collects
Nothing, unless you choose to contact us. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads nothing from other companies' servers. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your browser remembers that choice on your own device; it is never sent to us.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use it to identify you.
When you contact us or order
The enquiry form opens your own email app; it does not send anything to us until you press send there. When you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive what you choose to share, which usually includes:
- your name, institution or company, email address and phone number
- the products you ask about or order
- a delivery address, if you place an order
We use this to answer your enquiry, supply and deliver your order, and keep the records the law requires. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing that contract, and complying with our legal obligations (such as tax records).
Who else handles it
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you message us there
- Cloudflare, which receives email sent to our address and forwards it to our mailbox
- Microsoft (Outlook), which provides that mailbox
- the courier that delivers your order, which receives your name and delivery address
We never sell your information or use it for marketing you haven't asked for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted within 12 months. Order and payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
